What art can bring to a young person’s employment path? How art related activities should be organised and what kind of obstacles and possibilities is related to it?
The functional workshop organised by Palvelumuotoilu Palo on November 8, 2017 contemplated the benefits of art to those searching for direction and the types of cooperation that are needed between artists and those working with young people and immigrants. We learned about the experiences of a pilot artist participating in the Lähde! project regarding youth activities organised in Vaala. The objective of the day was to create operational models for the utilisation of art to be trialled by the Lähde! project in 2018–2019. The participants included youths, professionals working with young people and artists. The workshop was organised as part of the Oulu Design Days program.
