KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre is one of the departments under the municipal culture and leisure services in the Ii Municipality.
KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre includes an artist-driven community, the KulttuuriKauppila Association, which takes an active part in the planning and production of the activities at KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre.

Art education
Art education is one of the cornerstones of the activities of KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre.
Projects
Projects form an important part of the work at KulttuuriKauppila, which carries out projects of its own and participates actively in various joint projects; jointly with its partners, it applies for significant project funding in order to ensure a sufficient extent and variety for its operations.
Studio artists
One of the two main buildings at KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre houses the studio facilities used by the in-house artists: Sculptor Sanna Koivisto, Photographer Antti J. Leinonen and Sculptor Antti Ylönen.
Events
KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre is an active organiser of events such as workshops, exhibitions, artist meetings and master classes. The most important events are Art Ii Biennial and Valto Pernu Photo Marathon, organised on alternate years.
History
KulttuuriKauppila Art Centre operates in a school built in 1892 and a studio building constructed in 2006. The new building houses the spacious studios and other facilities of the studio artists, the office of the Art Centre, and a small exhibition space.
