Antti Leino is a freelance photographer based in Turku, Finland. He has been a professional photographer since 2016. In addition to commercial assignments, Leino’s subjects include urban environments, nature and especially communities who draw their livelihoods from nature. In Finland, Antti has photographed nature, especially in the archipelago close to his hometown of Turku and in the Kuusamo region in northeast Finland. During his residency, he learned about the winter life of the residents of the Bothnian Bay area. The residency in Ii provided Leino with new ideas and inspiration to take home with him.
