Anniina Lehtinen is a Finnish composer, pianist and performer who has been living in Paris since 2014. She composes for piano and a variety of other instruments. She sometimes adds her voice and elements of nature to her music. Her style ranges from classical music to film music, indie and electro.

Since 2018, she has been composing and performing Water Rituals, which combines her music with experimental video works by artist Iiris-Lilja Kuosmanen.

KulttuuriKauppila has the pleasure to introduce Anniina Lehtinen’s performance as part of the line-up for the evening of arts in Ii 18th August 7 pm.

The KulttuuriKauppila showroom will present Lehtinen’s and Kuosmanen’s Water Rituals FROM 17th August to 26th August, tue-fri 12am-5pm sat 11am-4pm. The installation consists of Iiris-Lilja Kuosmanen’s photographs and video work and Anniina Lehtinen’s soundscape. The work is a meditative depiction of the changes in the environment and the power of water – the way in which water takes over areas and creates something new.
