KK AiR 3/18 Maja Ingerslev
Maja Ingerslev is a visuel artist, based in Aarhus, Denmark. She is educated at The Jutland Academi of Art in 1997- 2002. She works with staged photography, video and papercut installations. The work is reflecting on the themes of nature and culture, visibility and disappearance, imagination and reality, death and creation. The subtle work investigate our relation to nature and perception of nature. The work set focus on the poetic value of nature in a time with changes in nature, due to climate changes.
With her exhibition in the end of March Maja starts the pre-program of Art Ii Biennial 2018. The exhibition States of Winter will be celebrated in KulttuuriKauppila on friday 23.3. with an artist talk at 17 and the exhibition opening at 18. Free entrance! Welcome!
