In the movie director Bry parallels Earth’s “chronic illness” – the climate crisis – and their own experiences with living with a chronic illness. The movie captures introspective moments through these lenses, exploring resilience, change and fragility. “Is the Earth Chronically Ill?” examines the relationship between the climate crisis and nature, at three important places for Bry: Scotland, Finland and France.

The movie is suitable for all ages. The movie includes nudity in scenes portraying going to the sauna and swimming.

At the beginning of the movie, director Elina Bry presents their piece and at the end of the Movie night there is Q&A.

The event is free of charge.
